1. The service

Helpers & Engineers is a society / township management platform that lets residents view their maintenance bills and pay them online, and lets the management generate bills, record payments and issue receipts.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be an owner / resident (or an authorised member of the management) of a society we serve. You are responsible for the activity under your mobile-number-verified login and for keeping your device secure.

3. Bills, fees & payments

• Maintenance charges are determined by your society's management based on your unit (e.g. area and applicable rate). The amount payable for any bill is shown on the bill and on the payment screen.
• GST (CGST 9% + SGST 9% = 18%) is applied as required by law and shown separately on the invoice / receipt.
• A late-payment penalty may apply to overdue bills as per your society's policy; where applicable it is shown on the bill before you pay.
• Online payments are processed by Razorpay. The amount charged is computed and confirmed on our server at the time of payment.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with its operation or security.

5. Disclaimers & liability

The platform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. We are not responsible for failures of third-party services (such as the payment gateway, banks or networks) outside our control.

6. Intellectual property

The platform, its content and branding are owned by H Helpers & Engineers Private Limited and may not be copied or reused without permission.

7. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always available on this page.
